Taylor takes 11th in Boone prelude

On Saturday, Jeff Taylor rolled into Boone (Iowa) Speedway for the Double Down Prelude to the Super Nationals. Competing among 157 IMCA Modified entrants, Taylor turned in a solid result in one of two features driving his Skyway Auto Group No. 5 ride.

Taylor opened his night at the 1/3-mile oval with a sixth-to fourth run in his heat race. He then won his B-Main from the pole. He began his 25-lap, $1,500-to-win feature from 25th on the grid and charged to an 11th-place finish.
