Top 5 Finish in Southern Oklahoma Speedway TOMS Finale

On Friday night Jeff Taylor made the trek to Southern Oklahoma Speedway (Ardmore, Oklahoma) powering his Spur Bar No. 5 IMCA Modified versus a stout field of 56 cars. Following a seventh place finish in his heat, Taylor advanced through the field 13 spots in his B-Main to place second behind Tyler Stevens. Coming one spot shy of a Top-5 finish in the feature, Jeff passed 11 cars to register a sixth place finish.

Returning on Saturday afternoon for the Touring Outlaw Modified Series (TOMS) sanctioned program, Jeff came in fourth in his heat before charging to a consolation victory. Starting the $2,000-to-win A-Main in 12th, Taylor passed seven cars in the 30-lapper to score a fifth place finish behind Tyler Stevens, Triston Dycus, Tanner Mullens, and R.C. Whitwell.
