2010 Shaw By Taylor Chassis Customer Accomplishments
September 22nd, 2010 - Matt Dotson won the Open Wheel Modified Track Championship at Fredericktown Raceway (Fredericktown, Missouri) in his Shaw By Taylor Chassis. Chris Hayes won the Open Wheel Modified Rookie of the Year honor at St. Francois County Raceway (Farmington, MO) in his Shaw By Taylor Chassis. August 26th, 2010 - Modified rookie John Lindgren got his first win at KRA Speedway in Willmar, Minnesota in his Shaw by Taylor modified. August 13th, 2010 - Matt Dotson once again drove his Shaw By Taylor Open Wheel Modified to the feature win at Fredericktown Raceway (Fredericktown, MO) on Friday night. Jason Maurer drove the #8A A-Plus Motorsports Open Wheel Modified to the feature win at Duck River Speedway (Wheel, TN) on Friday night for the fourth win of 2010. August 6th, 2010 - Matt Dotson powered his Shaw By Taylor Open Wheel Modified to the feature win at Fredericktown Raceway in Fredericktown, Missouri. The win marked his first in the Open Wheel Modified division. July 24th, 2010 - Saturday night was a good night for the #8A A-Plus Motorports Shaw by Taylor Open Wheel Modified. Jason Maurer of Columbia,TN started 4th in Heat #2 at Moulton Raceway only to finish with the lead. Jason started outside pole for the feature and went on to lead every lap on his way to win #3 of the season. Special thanks to Jeff Taylor Motorsports, The A-Plus Motorsports crew and John and Hannah Bates of Moulton Raceway for a great track to race on each and every week. June 12th, 2010 - The #8A A-Plus Motorsports/Shaw by Taylor driven by Jason Maurer of Columbia, TN drove away from the field Saturday nite June 5th at Moulton Raceway for his second win of the season. Jason would like to say thanks to car owners Phillip and Tammy Baxter for giving him the opportunity to drive their car. Also thanks to Jeff Taylor and Jeff Taylor Motorsports for their support. Jacob Cooper had a great weekend as he picked up the first win of his young career on Friday night at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri before picking up his second career won on Saturday night at Northeast Arkansas Speedway in Harrisburg, Arkansas in his Shaw By Taylor Open Wheel Modified. June 5th, 2010 - Jason Maurer took the Open Wheel Modified win at Moulton Speedway in Moulton, Alabama in his Shaw By Taylor. May 22nd, 2010 - Keith Tourville claimed another win tonight in his Shaw By Taylor Modified at Jim Falls, Wisconsin. May 21st, 2010 - Jeff Taylor won the Crate Late Model feature at Batesville Motor Speedway in his Shaw By Taylor Late Model. Keith Tourville won the Open Wheel Modified feature at Ogilvie, Minnesota in his Shaw By Taylor. May 15th, 2010 - Keith Tourville raced his way to the feature win on Saturday night at Central Wisconsin Speedway in his Shaw By Taylor Chassis. April 17th, 2010 - Jacoby Hines from Nineveh, IN picked up his first career feature win 4-17-10 at Lake Cumberland Speedway (KY) in his new Shaw by Taylor. |
2010 Taylor Chassis Customer Accomplishments
October 30th, 2010 - Kent Rosevear drives the #02 (Shaw by Taylor) Pro-Tech Racing Ford modified. He Started fifth in his heat and won the it to claim the pole in the feature event. Kent led all 25 laps, lapped to 8th place and won with over half a track lead over 2nd. Kent was in 2nd place in points coming in to this race, with this feature win he is now in the point's lead with 2 races remaining in 2010. October 23rd, 2010 - Troy Cooke won the 2010 Track Championship at Thunder Raceway in Show Low, Arizona in his #42 Taylor Chassis. He won seven of fourteen feature events along the way. October 16th, 2010 - Chris Elliott won the Ryan Bard Memorial at Abilene Speedway (Abilene, TX) in his Taylor Chassis on Saturday night over a field of 71 competitors. The win was worth $3,000. September 25th, 2010 - Johnny “Lightning” Barber in his Taylor Open Wheel Modified started with a heat win and than drove from 9th to 1st in the feature at Bridge County Raceway (Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada). This took him from a 4th place track points to a IMCA Canada Track Championship. Porter Smith secured the Aztec Speedway Track Championship with a strong run Saturday night, September 25th. Porter was able to run down the leader from the 10th starting position by the 11th lap only to get collected in the aftermath of an extremely unskilled "slide-job" executed by the 4th place car. Porter would have to pit to change a tire and was able to use the remaining 14 laps to drive from 16th to finish 3rd on a one-groove track. September 11th, 2010 - Bryce Jewell drove his Taylor Open Wheel Modified to the heat race and feature win at Windy Hollow Speedway (Owensboro, Kentucky) on Saturday night. September 4th, 2010 - The 1R modified/Jeff Taylor Motorsports Chassis driven by Matt Richards of Lincoln, Nebraska would find its home in victory lane at Eagle Raceway (Eagle, NE) on September 5th for the Eagle Shootout. Matt would power his 1R to victory lane leading half straight away over the challengers including Ken Shrader. Dominic Ursetta dominates Colorado in 2010 with his Taylor Chassis DC Engine Open Wheel Modified. He wins his 2nd Consecutive Track Championship at I-76 Speedway, Fort Morgan, he wins his 2nd Consecutive Track Championship Phillips County Raceway, Holyoke. Dom is also the Track Champion at Colorado Motorsports Park, Byers and he is the IMCA Colorado State Points Champ! What a year for the 6u team! Chris Elliott won the feature at Abilene Speedway (Abilene, TX) as well as claiming the Track Championship in his Taylor Chassis. August 21st, 2010 - On August 21st Eddie Belec Jr. picked up his 5th win of the season winning the feature at I-76 Speedway. Eddie also won back-to-back events at Phillips County Speedway on July 30th and at I-76 Speedway on July 31st all in his Taylor chassis. Porter Smith picked up another main event victory in his 2010 Taylor Chassis at Aztec Speedway on Friday night. Bryce Jewell drove his Taylor Chassis to the heat and feature win on Saturday at Western Kentucky Speedway in Nebo, Kentucky. August 14th, 2010 - August 14th & 15th Dominic Ursetta had an awesome weekend by winning the Feature event Saturday night at I-76 Speedway. Dom kept up his winning streak by winning the BST Series Main event Sunday night at Phillips County Raceway in his Taylor Chassis DC Engine Open Wheel Modified. August 7th, 2010 - Aaron Turnbull made a clean sweep of the evening's event by winning the $1,000 feature at Estevan Motor Speedway in Estevan, Sask, Canada on Saturday night. Porter Smith turned in another dominating performance to win on Saturday night at Aztec Speedway in Aztec, New Mexico in his Taylor Chassis Open Wheel Modified. Roger Witt drove his Taylor Chassis Crate Late Model to the feature win on Saturday night at New West Plains Speedway in West Plains, Missouri. July 25th, 2010 - Andy Gordon continued his hot streak by taking the feature win on Sunday night in his Taylor Chassis Open Wheel Modified at Madison Speedway in Madison, Minnesota. July 23rd, 2010 - Keith Tourville drove his Taylor Chassis Open Wheel Modified to the feature win at Monster Hall Raceway in Monster Hall, Wisconsin. July 22nd, 2010 - Andy Gordon won the main event for the second straight week, tonight at KRA Speedway in Wilmar, Minnesota in his Taylor Chassis. July 17th, 2010 - Andy Gordon won the main event in his Taylor Chassis at KRA Speedway in Willmar, Minnesota against a tough field of Open Wheel Modified competitors. Porter Smith picked up another win on Saturday night in his 2010 Taylor Chassis at Aztec Speedway in Aztec, NM. In doing so, he also took over the points lead for the 2010 track championship. July 11th, 2010 - Jeff overcame a field of 81 Open Wheel Modifieds to win the opening round of the Dacotah Classic Modified Series at Dacotah Speedway in Mandan, North Dakota in the Ed Turnbull owned, Taylor Chassis Open Wheel Modified on Sunday night. July 10th, 2010 - Porter Smith swept the weekend with his 2010 Taylor Chassis at Hayden Speedway in Hayden, CO. Friday, July 9, was a regular IMCA show in Hayden and Porter collected both the heat race and main event wins. Bill Schumacker picked up the feature win in his Taylor Chassis Open Wheel Modified at I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan, Colorado over the weekend, which was his first ever win! July 4th, 2010 - Brandon Poppenheimer had a great weekend in his #99 Taylor Chassis Open Wheel Modified as he won two features. On Thursday, he claimed the win at Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood, Tennessee before picking up the feature win on Sunday at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi. Mark Trautner picked up his first feature win of the season in his new Taylor Chassis at Jamestown Speedway (Jamestown, North Dakota)! Justin Yeager drove his Taylor Chassis to the Open Wheel Modified feature win at Sweetwater Speedway in Rock Springs, Wyoming. June 26th, 2010 - Aaron Turnbull continued his torrid season by picking up another feature win on Saturday night at Williston Basin Speedway in Williston, North Dakota on Saturday night in his Taylor Chassis Open Wheel Modified. Scott Krigler drove his Taylor Chassis Open Wheel Modified to the feature win on Saturday night at New West Plains Speedway in West Plains, Missouri. Dougie Murphrey picked up the Open Wheel Modified feature win in his Taylor Chassis in Sabine Motor Speedway Many, Louisiana on Saturday night. June 25th, 2010 - Shawn Kilgore drove his Taylor Chassis oto the Badger State Showdown win at Luxemburg Speedway in Luxemburg, Wisconsin. June 20th, 2010 - Dominic Ursetta thrilled the Fathers Day crowd at Phillips County Raceway in Holyoke, Colorado. Dom started 9th after a broken J-bar sent him to the pits. Starting dead last he picked them off one by one to win the Feature in his Taylor Chassis DC Engine Open Wheel Modified. Check out the video: www.dominicursetta.com June 19th, 2010 - Aaron Turnbull made a clean sweep of the racing action on Friday night at Estevan Motor Speedway (Estevan, Canada) by winning the $1,000 feature. Turnbull was on his way to the feature win on Saturday night before a mechanical failure forced him to relinquish the lead. Shannon Blair claimed the feature win in his Taylor Chassis Open Wheel Modified on Saturday night at St. Francois County Raceway in Farmington, Missouri. Kyle Maloney won the Open Wheel Modified feature at I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan, Colorado in his Taylor Chassis. Chris Elliot was the Open Wheel Modified feature winner in his Taylor Chassis at Abilene Speedway in Abilene, Texas. Lucas Lee drove his #12 Taylor Chassis Open Wheel Modified to the feature win on Saturday night at Corinth Speedway in Corinth, Mississippi. June 12th, 2010 - Porter Smith picked up his second feature win of the season at Aztec Speedway in Aztec, New Mexico on Saturday night. June 11th, 2010 - Marty Clark powered his Taylor Open Wheel Modified to the feature win at RPM Speedway in Hays, Kansas on Friday night. Lucas Lee won another feature at Camden Speedway in Camden, Tennessee on Friday night in his Taylor Chassis. June 5th, 2010 - Aaron Turnbull won again in his Taylor Chassis at Estevan Motor Speedway in Estevan, SK, Canada. May 8th, 2010 - Troy Cooke took his second win of 2010 on Saturday at Thunder Raceway in Show Low, Arizona in his #42 Taylor Chassis. Kevin Fitzgerald picked up the feature win in his Taylor Chassis on Saturday at Petaluma Speedway in Petaluma, California. Chris Elliot won the feature at Abilene Speedway in his Taylor Chassis. Eddie Belec Jr. won another feature in his Taylor Chassis, Open Wheel Modified at I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan, Colorado on Saturday night. Porter Smith picked up the heat and feature win at Desert Thunder Raceway in Price, Utah on Saturday night. On Friday at Desert Thunder Raceway in Price, Utah, Smith picked up his first heat-race win of the season. He led the majority of a caution-plagued main event, only to run out of fuel under caution, with the lead, with only two laps to go. May 1st, 2010 - Eddie Belec Jr. raced his Taylor Chassis to his first feature win of the year on Saturday night at I-76 Speedway in Fort Morgan, Colorado. Shawn Kilgore won the season opener at Thunderhill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin in a 2010 Taylor chassis on Saturday night! April 24th, 2010 - Lucas Lee has racked up three feature wins on the year at Camden Speedway (Camden, TN) and one win at Tennessee National Raceway (Hohenwald, TN) in his Taylor Chassis. April 23rd, 2010 - Shawn Kilgore won the season opener at Luxemburg Speedway (Luxemburg,Wi.) in a 2010 Taylor chassis!
